Who We Are
The Miss America Organization is the world's largest competitive scholarship program for young women and one of the nation's leading achievment programs.
Each year, tens of thousands of Miss America volunteers generate more than 500,000 hours of service to over 12,000 community service projects making Miss America one of the strongest service organizations in the country.
Participation in the Miss America program empowers young women to achieve their personal and professional goals, while providing a forum in which to use their talents and intelligence to advance a national platform dedicated to making a difference in the lives of America's youth.
At every level of the program, Miss America's contestants receive thousands of dollars in scholarships and gain poise, confidence, and life skills that benefit them throughout their lives.
